Why I created The Learning Bridge.

For 14 years, I’ve served our homeschool community by helping families find resources, build relationships, and discover opportunities.

In 2016, we held our first Homeschool Show & Share. In 2020, I started Mrs. Emily’s Field Trips & More. Those connections have grown into a community of almost 3,000 families.

When I formed my LLC, I wanted a name that reflected who I am and what I do. I’m a connector. A bridge helps people get from where they are to where they want to go. That felt right.

“Learning” mattered just as much. I teach children, support parents, and believe we continue learning throughout our lives.

That is why I created The Learning Bridge.

Whether you’re beginning your homeschool journey, looking for a class, exploring curriculum, or searching for community, my hope is that you’ll find a clear path to your next step here.

The Learning Bridge connects the people, resources, and opportunities that help families move forward.

Mrs. Emily with Coach P and Mandy Hathcock—relationships at the heart of our community.

Mrs. Emily’s work begins with something familiar: a parent looking for meaningful opportunities for her own family. Years of homeschooling, teaching, and connecting people have grown into a community of shared discovery.

Through The Learning Bridge, Mrs. Emily’s Field Trips & More, and Homeschool Show & Share, that same heart continues: helping families find people, places, and possibilities that fit their journey.
