The heart behind The Learning Bridge

Meet Mrs. Emily.

A homeschool mom with a big imagination, a playful spirit, and a heart for bringing people together.

Learning happens
through connection.

As a homeschool mom to Landon and Emma, Mrs. Emily brings her experience as an educator together with her own family’s homeschool journey. She has taught classes, organized programs, built community partnerships, and helped families discover learning opportunities.

Through The Learning Bridge, Mrs. Emily’s Field Trips & More, and Homeschool Show & Share, she connects families with people, places, and resources that can enrich their journey.

“I want people to see the real us. I am a homeschool mom too.”

I love bringing a little imagination and a lot of fun into our homeschool community. Whether I’m dressed as Ms. Frizzle, chaperoning a dance, or spending time with family and friends, I want you to see the real me. The relationships we build along the way are the heart of this work.

The family.
The community.
The heart of the work.

Get to know the person behind the programs and the connections that bring them to life.

A homeschool mom, too.

I’m a homeschool mom to Landon and Emma. From our first year to basketball, mock trial, dances, and Emma’s senior-year pumpkin patch visit, our family’s journey is part of the heart behind this work.

People, memories & lasting connections

The joy is in the relationships.

Watching Kylie grow

I’ve known Kylie Chandler since she was this little. Watching her grow and later celebrating her as a microgrant recipient is exactly why these relationships mean so much to me.
